The City Clerk has confirmed the final list of candidates for the office of trustee, Toronto District School Board (TDSB) wards 17 and 20. The list is available at http://app.toronto.ca/vote/index.jsp.
There are:
• 17 candidates for trustee, TDSB Ward 17; and
• 14 candidates for trustee, TDSB Ward 20.
Voter information cards will be mailed out in early February notifying voters when and where to vote. Voters will have three opportunities to vote:
• Advance Vote - Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Election Day - Monday, February 27, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
A Voter Assist Terminal will be available at all locations during the advance vote which allows people with various disabilities to vote independently and privately. On election day those who wish to use this assistive device should contact Election Services at 416-338-1111 or e-mail AccessibleElections@toronto.ca before February 21 to make the necessary arrangements.
