Reason for Recall: | Wegmans is recalling hard-cooked eggs, as well as prepared salads, deli trays, and subs that contain hard-cooked eggs purchased between January 23 and February 1, 2012, at specific New York State stores only. These eggs may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This recall is a result of a recent recall by Minnesota-based Michael Foods, Inc., which produces the cooked eggs at its Wakefield, Nebraska facility. If you still have these products, do not consume them - discard them at home and return to the store for a full refund. For more information, please call 1-800-WEGMANS (934-6267) and ask for Consumer Affairs, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. |
