Seeking Public’s Assistance in Identifying Serial Bank Robber and Accomplice

The Knoxville Division of the FBI and the Knoxville Police Department launched an electronic billboard campaign to help identify a serial bank robber active in Knoxville. He may also have an accomplice in the robberies. The individual is suspected of robbing at least two banks and one local business in the Knoxville area.
The first suspect is described as a clean-shaven white male with short brown hair and a prominent receding hairline. He is approximately 5’ 9” to 5’ 10” tall and weighs between 150 to 160 pounds with a slim build. He is approximately 40 to 50 years of age.
Investigators are also attempting to identify his accomplice. The accomplice is described as a heavy-set white male with brown hair. He also wears eyeglasses.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of these individuals. Anyone with information should contact the Knoxville Division of the FBI at 865-544-0751 or KPD at 865-215-7212.
This matter is being investigated jointly by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (which consists of the FBI, KPD, and KCSO) and the KPD Major Crimes Unit.
