ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Buffalo International Film Festival has been personally invited to the China International Animation Film Trade Fair in GuanDong, China.
Last year, more than 600,000 people from all over the world attended! (That's more people than attend all of the US film festivals put together).
In order to bring samples of America's finest animation we need to fund the construction of a delightful exhibit and transport it to Dongwan, China.
The more you donate -- even past the set goal -- the slicker and more exciting the exhibit will be! Please be generous. It will represent our country's arts.
Your donations (all tax-deductible!) will be used to:
= Build the Exhibit
= Make a wonderful, exciting Animation Sample Reel
= Transport everything (and some humans) to China
= Make a documentary about the trip
Imagine this terrific opportunity to promote the work of United States animatorsand filmmakers as well as the wonderful Greater Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Western New York region.
If you're an Artist or Animator anywhere in the World (Hollywood or Hong Kong), you will benefit directly by making this happen: You'll be able to send your own film which we will show to hundreds of thousands of potential employers and distributors. The $250 & $500 level gets a sample of your animation into the show.
Don't forget: airfare alone is over $4,000 per person (not counting shipping). (it's a grueling 14 hour flight).
If you are from Greater Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Western New York, this exhibit will present your cultural accomplishments and region in the best possible light, encouraging people to travel there for the Buffalo International Film Festival and just for fun and joy!
